Scott's story
As many of you already know my brother Scott died one week after suffering an assault.
In the months following Scott's death my mam has had an awful lot to deal with notwithstanding the devastating loss of her only son but the circumstances of the loss have made it unbearable.
To add to her loss she has now been asked to give up the family home as she no longer can afford to pay the rent due the additional costs incurred since Scott's death - namely the Bedroom Tax.
Many people have offered to help my mam since we lost Scott but the timing has never been right to accept the offers.  Not only have we been mourning the loss of a brilliant son and brother but we have also had to cope with the circumstances of his death and the possibility of a court case. 
This wait is now over and although the outcome was not as we would have wanted we need to both move on with our lives.  Mam though has to contend with the fact she has to leave her home.  Mam was a full-time carer for Scott and everything she had she spent on Scott and their home.  She has no savings and is so worried about how she will finance a move. 
The plain and simple truth is: 
If Scott had never suffered the assault he would probably still be alive and Mam would not need to move house.
If we could raise even £500 this would be an enormous help for my Mam.  She is so worried by all of this.  Please give what you can and help me make this less stressful for my mam.
