Josh & Abi: Mission Zambia

We're traveling to Lusaka Zambia to play with kids who are poor and orphaned. We're also putting mom (Angel) and Tee Ally, our chaperones to work too. They will be loving on babies, talking to the high school girls and Tee Ally will get to use her nursing experience working in the Medical Center. We're also bringing books and supplies to give to the school.  We are so excited!  Will you HELP us?  PLEASE  
PS. Mommy and Daddy are going to let us crack eggs on them if we reach $5000
PPS. Daddy has agreed to eat an entire slice of pizza if we reach our goal of $10,000.   This is HUGE because Daddy doesn't eat cheese and has NEVER eaten a slice of pizza.  
PPPS. We only have 2 weeks to make this happen before we leave on October 21st.

From Ohi and Angel:
This year we wanted our children to experience helping and serving others in a way that helps them realize not just how blessed they are but how great the needs are all over this world and that they can help no matter how young they are. 

Our good friends, Warren and Victoria Carr have been serving in Zambia for over 10 years working with street children, orphans, the poor. They are raising their four children in Zambia while Serving at the Tree of Life Children's Village. Then it occurred to us that not only can we serve the poor, we can serve a family who has committed their lives to serving others.  They were more than thrilled at the idea and it turns out our coming will be an answer to prayer.  

We are extremely grateful for our sister, Allyson who is joining us.  She is a traveling operating room nurse.  This means,  she is giving up income as she works on a contract basis.  She has also played a huge part in getting this mission off the ground and why it's happening SO SOON.  
 
Making this committment was no easy decision.  In fact, fear of not being able to raise funds has been real.  
but we are a family of faith, teaching our children to "Push Through" and believe "with GOD, All things are POSSIBLE."  Therefore we are pushing through and teaching by example.  

Would you join us in this mission?  Help us raise the funds to travel to Lusaka,  purchase books, kindles loaded with ebooks and supplies for the Tree of Life Children's Village. 

We also ask for your prayers:  For our safe travel, the Carr family who will be hosting us, the kids whom we will come in contact with that we would be sensitive to their needs, engage them in a meaningful way and make a lasting impact on their lives.
