Greetings!
My name is Rita-Grace, I am a 10 years old hard working girl, a gifted and honor roll student, and also a National Junior Beta Club member.
I am very excited because I was nominated by my teacher and accepted as one of the few participants to the National Youth Leadership Conference in STEM that will be held in Washington, DC this summer.
I need help to travel to Washington from Atlanta and pay the registration fee which is $ 2,000 for a 5 days program. I qualified for a $500 scholarship from the program that leaves me and my mother wondering how we will cover the $1,500 registration fee remaining and about $1,000 for living and travel expenses for 6 days.
I am sending this letter to all good and generous people who can help me go to Washington, D.C. with my mother.
For the past two years, I have been attending the Lockheed Martin Aviation Camp at Fernbank Science Center, and I have a clear idea of what I love to do. I want to study more in the fields of Math and Science and this 5 days program is like a dream comes true for me. I don’t want to miss it. Please help me.
