Ollie's Hospital Stay & Surgery

It breaks my heart to have to do this, but we're looking for some help to offset the cost of a hospital stay and surgery that is NEEDED for Ollie. Today I found some blood on Ollie and upon closer inspection I immediately knew something wasn't right. His lower jaw was slightly to the side. I brought him to the vet for an examination as soon as I could and found out he has an open fracture of his lower jaw. This means that the part of his jaw that is fractured, some of the bone is sticking through his skin. My poor, strong little ginger boy now has to have surgery to have it fixed. The surgery is going to cost between $3000-$4000. He's at the hospital currently being observed to see if he will eat "grul" as they called it. It's just soupy food essentially because he can still open his mouth a little, but he's unable to actually eat. If he doesn't need a feeding tube, this stay is going to cost about another $1000-$2000 (which I already had to leave an $800 deposit). The only other alternative was to put him down because of the pain he would be in if we opted to not get the surgery. The vets I have spoken to said he would make a full recovery if we opt to have the surgery and would still have a good quality of life after recovery. We have it scheduled for Monday morning. As long as he will eat the "grul" we will be taking him home probably sometime tomorrow for us to take care of him and mitigate some of the medical costs until his surgery on Monday. Ollie is only 5 and a half years old and has so many more years to be with us, so that was not an option in my book. I know some are probably thinking that this is crazy we're going to spend (more than likely) $6000 on my cat. He IS my BABY. Sean & I don't have children, but our animals are our babies and we treat them as such. He has been in my life since he was a kitten and I have had him for 5 years now. I love him so much, and can't bare to see him in pain or be without him! Please, please, please consider donating. Even just a couple of dollars would help.
