Ollie's Army - Battling against Battens

Donation protected
I am raising funds to support Ollie and Amelia who are living with the very rare Battens disease.

Ollie has lost his mobility, sight, speech and ability to eat and drink by himself to Battens Disease. His younger sister Amelia is also facing the same effects the disease.

The funds raised will go towards the £250,000 target for Great Ormond Street Hospital in London to move forward in setting up a new clinical trial/compassionate use program to use enzyme therapy directly into the eye of children with CNL2 Batten Disease.
If successful this treatment could slow or even prevent the loss of eye sight in children battling CNL2 disease.

Ollie and Amelia travel to Great Ormond Street Hospital with their parents for specialist care and treatment.

I will be walking the equivalent distance from my home in Denton to Great Ormond Street. It is a 350 mile round trip that I'll be clocking up the miles around my local area and on the treadmill with the support of my fiance Phil and Jackson the dog!

Please support my fundraiser for these incredibly brave children, their older siblings and parents who face this battle against Battens every single day
