Olivia's Cotillion Scholarship

Hello,
I am thrilled to have been selected to participate in the 2015 Tea Rose Debutante Cotillion, sponsored by the Ivy Foundation and the Xi Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.  I have been participating in interesting cultural, personal development and educational programs, while being mentored by an amazing group of women.   

I am a senior International Baccalaureate (IB) student and very active in my school and in my community. I am a Model United Nations delegate, captain and choreographer of my high school's color guard, manager of the varsity basketball team, and a member of my school's dance ensemble. I serve as junior diaconate at my church and volunteer with community groups teaching dance.

Being a Debutante is not all about poofy white gowns, waltzes and curtsies--though that's fun! This enrichment program is helping me to become more community minded and focused on my future, while providing opportunities for me to obtain scholarships for college. (I have benn accepted to my #1 choice, Hampton University, and to St. John's University). Funding for the Ivy Foundation college scholarship comes from the money I raise to support the service goals of the Ivy Foundation, various sponsorships and generous tax-deductible donations from wonderful people like you.  With your investment of any amount, I will be closer to reaching my fundraising goal.
