Olivia's Village

Olivia is a Superhero: mother, educator, entrepreneur, friend, and contributor to all her communities. She generously gives of herself to better everyone else's life and is satisfied in the joy of blessing others. Now it's time the village gives back to her. As many know, she is a widow of only two years and on the journey of transitioning into a life in Seattle challenge has hit her again. Her new school burned down. In her words: Last week, my preschool went up in ! The fire started in my neighbor's indoor playground and cafe and spread quickly. None of my stuff that I have collected over my 16 years of teaching was salvageable. Unbelievable. Thank God no one was in the building. Friends and family have been watching me like a hawk wondering if I am going to crumble... especially after the tough two years that I have had. But yet again, through this catatastrophe, i have felt such tremendous love from my family and from my friends. I just want to thank all of you who have been calling, bringing food, keeping me company, and donating toys, books, money so that I can replenish my supply and keep teaching. I am so grateful for all of you.
