Olivias College Dreams
Donation protected
Olivia decided on the University of Oregon as her college. Her dream is to be a Nurse Practitioner. She has always wanted to help others since she was a little kid. It is in her DNA to be a care giver of some sort.
Since she applied to Oregon she has fallen in love with the school. The look of the campus, the environment, what others have said and just the way the school has embraced her and already made her feel like a “Duck”
This fund is meant as a combination graduation gift and to provide Olivia dorm and food costs, carry around money and other essentials to get situated in Oregon and getting going with her college career until she is able to get a job.
Olivia has been involved in worthwhile activities since her early years. She started volunteering at a Youth Center when she was 13 and is now a salaried member of the Youth Center, although it is closed indefinitely. She volunteered at her Mom’s afterschool until she was 16 and then became a part time paid teacher assistant every day after she got out of school. Through all this she has maintained an A average in her Senior year. She was the Editor in Chief of the 2020 Yearbook that now won't be released until August. Due to the virus, Olivia won’t have a chance to enjoy a prom or a real graduation this year. Bringing her some hope and joy was getting into one of the college of her dreams. Having some financial assistance would lessen the worry with everything going on in the world. Any help we can get would be much appreciated. Thanks to all and please stay safe and sound.
