Olivia Rose

On November 8, 2020 at approximately 6:30pm my two nieces were walking in their neighborhood, as they usually do, when then the unimaginable happened. Someone driving a truck struck the younger child and then drove off. They did not stop to see if she was ok. They did not stop to call the authorities. They did not stop to administer help in any way. They just drove off without even knowing the extent of her injuries, or if she was even alive. Several neighbors have claimed to have heard a loud "boom" from the impact followed by a terrified scream from her sister, who was lucky to have avoided being struck herself. There is no excuse for the person responsible for this to not stop.

I don't need to tell you how horrific of an event this is, but I do need to say that the person who did this has not been found. This person has not come forward despite several pleas to the media for them to do so. This person has not brought the vehicle into a repair shop (that we are aware of) and I can only assume at this point that they have no intention of coming forward, but only continuing to hide the vehicle and themselves, while my niece is unconscious in the pediatric ICU in a coma.

Though the extent of her injuries are unknown at this time, we have been advised that it will be a long and extensive recovery process that will likely require months of physical therapy at an out of town pediatric rehabilitation facility, as well as modifications  that will allow for wheel chair access in the home. The reality is that we wont know what all will be needed, nor do we know how long it will be needed for, because she is still in a coma. 

What I do know is that this child did not deserve this. I can attest that these two girls have endured more trauma in their lives than any person should ever have to endure. I know that with each day that we don't find the person responsible, the chances of them being found narrow, which is why we need your help. We would like to raise enough money to offer a substantial reward to anyone with information that will help bring justice for our Rose, as well as provide financial relief for any additional expenses that may arise. We need to bring justice to this situation and we are begging anyone with any information to please come forward.
