Columbia Property Management and Olive are raising money for Hoof & Paw Benevolent Society in Fairfield County. CPM will match donations made to Hoof & Paw under Olive’s Campaign. Olive was rescued last year and now she wants to help other animals like her find a good home!
Hoof & Paw is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose main goal is to help not only cats and dogs, but horses and other livestock too! Hoof & Paw works to fundraise for the Fairfield, Richland and Lexington County animal shelters and PETSinc. One of their main goals is to help spay and neuter shelter bound animals through a partnership with Fairfield County. Hoof & Paw pays for 10 animals to be spayed or neutered and Fairfield County matches their contribution. Our goal is to help them increase the number of pets that can be treated!
While Hoof & Paw's big goal right now is the spay/neuter project, they also work to fundraise for several different causes; like helping sponsor special surgeries for animals that are injured at the animal shelters, going to court as advocates of abused and neglected animals, and helping to fundraise for the shelters when they need assistance. For example: when PETSinc had an A/C unit go out last summer, Hoof & Paw made a donation to help them purchase a new A/C system. A goal they have for the near future is to be able to assist in the treatment of heartworm positive dogs that are shelter bound.
CPM started Olive's Campaign to help other animals like Olive get rescued. Now that Olive has been rescued, she has a full life. She has a wonderful feline sister named Tilly and she has a full time job at CPM as the official Office Dog. Her duties at work include greeting visitors and assisting in dog interviews for potential applicants. Here's Olive, making an in-paws-able decision on whether or not she should share her toy with her new friend Okie.
Olive takes her job at CPM very seriously and she really wants to make sure her friends at Hoof & Paw get all the help they need! We appreciate any help you can give!
