Oliver's NICU expenses

Donation protected

Our son, Oliver d'Artagnan, was born on August 3rd, 2017 via emergency c-section.  Oliver was born at 37 weeks, and the emergency c-section was performed because he was in distress.  Since his birth, Oliver has been in the NICU due to a few health concerns.  He has been having respiratory issues, he has had a very low platelet count, and the doctors suspect he has been suffering from an infection.  As of this writing, he has had 4 blood transfusions.  He has also had a lumbar puncture, and has been on a respirator since birth.  The doctors are currently consulting a hematologist to try to figure out why he cannot maintain his platelet count.  Nobody ever expects their baby to have to stay in the NICU for an extended period of time.  The hospital is quite a distance from our home, and we have been going to the hospital to visit our little man 3 times/per day, since my wife was released from the hospital.  Additionally, my wife will need to take more time off work than anticipated due to the emergency c-section and Olvier's condition.  Normally, I am not the kind of person that asks people for help, but I am setting this up to try to cover the cost of Oliver's hospital copay, help with gas, and rent a breast pump.  Anything you can do to help out is greatly appriciated.
