Oliver Thomas Rees, 9 weeks old, of Mesa, AZ passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2018. Oliver was born on July 20, 2018 at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ to Randall and Nicole Rees of Mesa, AZ. Oliver was a calm and quiet baby. He rarely cried and was very happy. He had big eyes, soft brown hair, and a heart-melting smile. Oliver was very alert, always wide-eyed and looking at the world around him and he loved to stay awake all night. This is how he earned the nickname "Ollie Owl".
Oliver is survived by his parents Randall and Nicole Rees, sister Maddison and brother Silas. Oliver's extended family consists of his Grandparents, Thomas and Melissa Rees, Kathy and Kris Rose and Gina Selnes & William Neely. Great-Grandparents: Joseph Roche, Fredrick Serres, Wayne & Debi Selness, and Ray Howard. Aunts and Uncles: Gary Rees and Charli Rees, Ryan Ecker, Justin Serres, Angel & Ian Cotton, Megan & Travis Weathers, and Mackenzie & Kip Parcell.
Oliver was preceded in death by his Grandfather James Serres, Great-Grandparents: David & Betty Rees, Margaret Roche, Ilse Serres, Carol Howard. Uncle and Aunts: Michael Roberts, Carleigh Roberts, and Janelle Jones.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. October 21, 2018 at the Antique Wedding Chapel, 307 E. 1st St, Mesa, AZ 85201
In lieu of flowers a go fund me account has been set up to help with expenses.
Although Oliver may have only been here for a brief time, he left us with a lifetime of love.
