Oliver Primus family

Hello friends and family,  As most of you know my brother's 9 month old son Oliver has been hit with an unexpected medical illness. From the beginning the doctors were stumped and could not figure out what was going on. What started out as a simple cold virus turned into much more. The doctors found bone infections in both of Oliver's legs, this in turn caused him to get Strep A1 blood infection.  From the beginning Oliver has been a champ at everything that has been thrown at him. If you have met this little man he has a smile for everyone and is the most chill little dude you could ever meet. Oliver is going into his 3rd week staying at Children's Hospital and his stay is not over yet. He has had a very large blood clot in his right leg that everyone was hopeful would react to the blood thinner and dissolve. Unfortunately the clot has not gotten any smaller and the doctors will be going in to have it broken up. Oliver was just getting better after having the surgery to remove the bone infections and he had his smile back. Now he will be back in PICU unit for a couple of days and then another week of recovery. His recovery time frame is far from over and will continue after he and his family are able to go home. Chase just started a new job the week Oliver got sick and has been trying to balance his job and be there for Oliver and Karen.  Due to his new job they are currently transitioning over to a new insurance company and it is unknown at this time what will be covered.  Karen has not been able to go back to work as she needs to be there for her Oliver.  Our family is usually the type to grin and bear it. We usually don't ask for help and will just figure out a way to make it work. Oliver's care is going to be in the 10s of thousands of dollars at this point. Oliver and his family did not deserve to have this happen to them and like the doctors have said from the beginning it has just been plain dumb luck that it happened. If you are financially able to help in any way we would appreciate it very much! Any money given will be going to Oliver's medial costs and care and to help with lost wages.
