Oliver Calacsan’s Open Heart Surgery

Hello everyone,
I am making this GoFundMe for one of the closest people in my life, Vivien Cervales. Her boyfriend, Oliver Calacsan, is also the father to her most precious one-year old daughter Aivee.
Oliver, only at the age of 23, is currently fighting a very rare condition — Rheumatic Heart Disease. Only less than 20,000 people in the U.S. experiences this battle yearly. It’s an inflammatory disease that begins with a strep throat that led to Rheumatic Fever. This disease has now permanently damaged his heart valves.
Just this August of 2019, he was unexpectedly rushed to the ICU wherein he had to undergo an open heart surgery. By God’s grace, the surgery went well. As a result of the surgery, he had insufficient blood flow which led him to experience shock in his Liver and Kidney Failure as well. There has been progress, and he is now currently under Cardiac Rehab, a program to designed to help improve his health and recover from the heart surgery he had.
We’re told that the hospital bill for his open heart surgery, including ICU other fees, is estimated to total to around $20,000. He has maintenance fees for his liver and kidney as well.
