Stand behind Olives community and the Friendly people and animals of devastated St Maarten
You all know that the friendly island has been "destroyed" by an unfriendly direct hit from monster hurricane irma. The people of SXM desparately need food, water and basic supplies to survive and start rebuilding their communities.
Local St Maarteners have proudly looked after and served guests for many years . They rely soley on tourism to survive.
We will be travelling down to SXM (as soon as commercial flights resume) to help the local inhabitants to begin the recovery process. Water has been shipped from Miami and other essentails are on their way.
We are raising funds for the local communies of the Dutch Quarter and Middle Region for food, water, basic power and building supplies and the necessities of life. Our target is $50,000.00.
There is limited access to bank accounts and hydro etc on the island of st Maarten at present .
110% of all net funds will go to the community and the needy and unfairly hurt friendly people of St Maarten.
The first $5000.00 donation was made by Sandy and Kim. We are also topping up each contribution by 10%
