Olive Crowl-Neuro Surgery
Donation protected
It was a very normal day on Dec 10, 2023, in Jamaica, when my mommy, Olive Crowl went to church, like she always does. In the midst her praising God and being joyful, she paused briefly to have a drink and everything seemed to change thereafter. She started throwing up, collapsed and had to be rushed to the hospital. She was revived, speaking and acting normally soon after but due to her underlying illnesses (diabetes and hypertension) the physician wanted to do a CT Scan. To our dismay, she was bleeding in two parts of her brain and had to be rushed by ambulance from the Negril hospital to Cornwall Regional, for neurological attention. She went into a coma at Cornwall but it was not her time because she came out within 24 hours. It has been over a month since she has been hospitalized. Based on a Digital Subtraction Angiogram (DSA) test done on Jan 9th, the ruptured vessels were found and she is now in need of brain surgery of approximately JA $3 million.
The funding of all the tests and hospitalization for the past month has taken a significant toll on the family. The fact that she is still here and fighting gives us strength and hope to fight with her to raise these funds for the surgery. HELP NEEDED!! If you took the time to read and share, I am and will be as grateful to you as the person who gave a dollar because every action helps. Thank You.
