Olga's Surgery and Cancer Recovery

Olga (from Olgas bar in Playa Pelada and a lifetime resident of Playa Pelada) has been diagnosed with cancer... a malignant growth in her uterus. This needs to be surgically removed immediately before it becomes untreatable and spreads.

Dr. Kenneth Loaiciga (a very well respected oncologist/gynecologist in San Jose) has agreed to do the surgery for cost ; 470,000 colones or $850.00. The surgery will be this Monday May 29.

Anyone who has lived in Nosara knows Olga. Her generosity to all is legendary.
Now it is time to help her if you can. I have set this page up for those of us in the US and around the world whose lives she has touched (for ease of donation) and will make sure whatver contributions are directly transferred to her account in CR.  She has had and wil have many more doctors appointments and expenses (travel, lodging, care etc...), noyt just this one appointment. If you are in Nosara, Dr Alejandro of Centro Médico in Guiones has agreed to be the donation drop off point. Please give whatever you can this week. Kevin at the reception desk will be collecting the money.

Quienes conocen a Olga, de Playa Pelada, esta dulce señora que ha ayudado a tantos niños y personas desde su restaurant, está necesitando ahora su ayuda..
Fue diagnosticada con una enfermedad maligna, que debe ser atendida con brevedad, pues de no ser así, podria ser muy tarde.
El Dr. Kenneth Loaiciga, cirujano / ginecologo- Oncologo de San José, está dispuesto a ayudar cobrando precio de costo por esta cirugía por un monto de 470.000 cólones ( aprox $850).
Ella tiene su cita el próximo lunes 29 de mayo, para este fin.  Pero los gastos estan acumulando con muchas citas diagnosticas y alojamiento y gastos para tod esto. Quien quiera colaborar con $10, $20, $50 o lo que gusten para poderle ayudar, Aquí se puede contribuir y así los amigos de ella de qualquier parte pueden donar aquí.
