<div>My name is <strong>Olfat Khalil Tayem</strong> from <strong>Gaza</strong>. I am 51 years old (born in 1973). I suffer from <strong>a chronic heart disease</strong> and am living through the hardest days of my life since the war destroyed everything… between loss, displacement, and famine.

<div><strong>I was forced to be displaced from my home</strong> in northern Gaza after it was <strong>completely destroyed</strong> by bombing. Since then, I have been enduring indescribable suffering… trapped between illness, hunger, extreme poverty, and constant fear of airstrikes and explosions.

<div><strong>My body has become weak and frail,</strong> with very little food and no access to proper medication. I feel my health deteriorating day by day. Food is scarce, and prices have skyrocketed unbelievably. The medicine I depend on to protect my heart has become rare and extremely expensive. Every day, my heart races… not only because of the chronic illness but also from fear. I don’t remember the last time I felt safe or full.

<div><strong>I have no income,</strong> my husband is elderly and unable to work, and although I have five grown children, they barely manage to support themselves amid this ongoing catastrophe and cannot bear the burden of my medical needs. I have now become fully dependent on your donations to survive. Prices have risen drastically, and survival is almost impossible without help.
