Oleksandr Romanenko Rehabalitation
Last week, the happiness of this beautiful family shattered. Oleksandr Romanenko, a father of two children, Master of Ice Skating of the former USSR, and the devoted husband of Natalya Ivanninokova, our ice skating coach of Palm Beach Figure Skating Club, unfortunately had a stroke. Luckily, he survived and has been released from the hospital. However, it will be a long journey to his recovery. He has a devastating diagnosis for a professional athlete, who grew up training several hours a day in his home town of Odessa, Ukraine. Now the family is stuck with hospital bills and their insurance company will not cover the rehabilitation and physical therapy that is necessary for Oleksandr. The family of four will have to survive only on his wife`s Natalya's income. At the moment the family is in a great financial struggle to pay all the co-pays, deductibles, and every day expenses. Unfortunately, the rest of Oleksandr family is still in Ukraine, and his relatives cannot support them during this critical time.
We are asking the members of the Palm Beach Figure Skating club, friends, members of Russian Ukrainian community, and ice skating fans to show their support by donating for Olesksandr Romanenko Recovery Fund.
