Old River Farms Disaster Relief

Friends we need your help. Hurricane Florence has taken it’s toll on us. First she took our 3 greenhouses. Destroying most of our fall inventory and our greenhouse classroom we use for agricultural education activities. Our entire corn crop was ruined along with hay we had baled as winter feed for our cows. After the storm passed, the rising floodwaters of the NE Cape Fear took the home and all belongings of owner/operator, Michael Lanier and his family. Now homeless and essentially jobless, we must figure out how to rebuild. Our first step is with a single greenhouse. We started this business with one little greenhouse and we can do it again. We will do anything we can to repay you for your generosity once we are up and running again. We have field trips scheduled for October and we do not want to disappoint all the kids that love visiting the farm. We must rebuild and start over. Any donation will allow us do this and and get back to helping our surrounding communities.
