This is my Story about My accident that changed my life forever this was written by my mother.

To the people out there that know and love Mark (pinhead) and what we have gone through in the last past 7 & a half years On the 29/8/2007 l received a call from Marks (Pinheads) boss Bob at 9 o'clock am asking if Mark (pinhead) was ok as he hadn't got to work and l said he would have to be at work as he was ridding my motor bike, for some reason l said to Bob could he please ring around the hospital as l had terrible feeling something was wrong. At about 9.30am Bob rang me back and told me l needed to grab whom l need to take to the hospital as it looks like he wasn't going make it. I started to ring around and let people know what was going on and l rang big Mark that being my husband at that time and Marks father as he was working over at Fitzroy or Footscray, l started driving collecting Marks (pinhead) brother and sister and his girl friend at that time and then l got on to the free way and as l was going past the Springvale turn off my phone rang so l put it on hands free and it was big Mark he told us that Marks (pinhead) spinal cord was no longer joined and that he would never walk again, l can't describe how l felt as l blanked out to a certain degree, we got to the Royal Melbourne hospital and l tried to find a car park but l couldn't so we all hopped out of the car and l said to the guy in the car park my son is dyeing and l don't know where to leave my car so here are my keys l don't know what to do and we all ran up stairs into the Emergency department on the way my x husband now showed us where he was, l walked up to Mark (pinhead) and l remember saying l think we have the wrong person but then l saw his tattoos on his arms so l knew it was him, Marks (pinhead) face was so swollen it didn't look like him at all, the doctors came in and l remember talking to them but l don't remember what about l think it was about having an operation to stabilize his spinal cord as there was more than one tire as well as a clean server to the spinal cord breast bone down, we all went and sat in this little room out side of the IC care unit for quite a long time and then big Mark and l were taking once again in to a little room to tell us about what they needed to operate on being arm, spinal cord, ten bleeds on the brain, extra. I remember coming out of that room very confessed holding a peace of paper that l had to sign to give then permission to operate now or he would die, l couldn't find my husband at that time as he wasn't coping so he had to leave for a while as we all coop different with stress big Marks mum said to me, l remember going in to this little corridor and putting my head on the glass window saying l need to get a plane as l believe you should always have a plane for some reason, after being there for may be 20 minutes the nurse came looking for me and l signed this piece of paper and l hope he would forgive me if l made the wrong decision as deep down l knew Mark (Pinhead) wouldn't of wanted to be on this earth if he couldn't do the things he was not just good at he was great at like ride his motor bike and dance like there was no tomorrow, the people who's life he had touched the most all gathered around out side the IC ward waiting to see if he lived or died or to just say THANK YOU we pushed through may be 80 to 90 people that night after he came out of the operating theatre they went 2 to 3 at a time and the next day to their was so many people that loves the ground he walks on and still does, l remember l was sitting in the IC next to Mark (pinhead) and all the sudden he opened his eyes and said l'm sorry mum and l said why as l was crying so hard l can't even explain how l felt and l wouldn't even want my worst enemy to feel the way l felt and when people still say to me they don't know how l came through this traumatic experience l say l never want anybody to go though what we did, we are the lucky ones we still have him. As fast as he came out of the coma is as fast as he went back in to it, l remember saying to my self he must of just went back to sleep for a while but it wasn't he went back in to a coma with all of the brain trauma, a few days later he started to come out of his coma and came off of life support, Mark (pinhead) was transported up stairs to another section in the hospital for his long drawn out recovery, Mark (pinhead) was tied down to the bed as he had a tractotomy in his throat as he kept on chocking and he couldn't talk for a while. Every time u would untie him he would try to take the drips out and the cords to tractotomy out, as he believed he could still walk. Shareen came in early to sit with him so he wouldn't be lonely and she found him hanging off of the bed as once again he believed he could walk, days went on as l would get up in the morning go to work each day as l had a mortgage to pay come home have shower and drive to the hospital every day and get home about 10.30 every night this went on for ever. Once Mark (pinhead) had recovered to a certain degree he was moved to the Austin hospital for more extensive training as he was classed as a paraplegic, weeks went by and then he was transferred to the rehab, for a very very long drawn out acceptance of being a full Paraplegic what l know he still hasn't come to grip with, l can't say l would ever want to except it my self either, l don't know how Mark (pinhead) feels and l more than likely will never know, once Mark (pinhead) came out of Rehab he was transferred to a place in Narre Warren called Narre Warren house special care unit as he couldn't come home as our house wasn't accommodated for a disabled person as sad as it is after quite a long time Mark (pinhead) felt he wasn't welcome there any more as their was also other people with very  bad ABI's (Aquired Brain Injuries) and it made the place close to unbearable to the point of uncomfortable for Mark (pinhead) after that he went to a place called Frankston special accommodation what he is still doing bowel care twice a week other wise he is with us in a rental property until we can build a disabled house, We don't know when it will all come together but he has come so far now he is a boss of a small company with knowledge in tasked but he just can't do the job him self as he only has use of one arm, we do know it's been so hard on everybody who has stuck by him and who are his family. It is now 7 & a half years and all l can say is thank you for not taking my son away from us this is from my heart as a mother, a parent and more than that just like every one out there WE LAUGH TOGETHER WE CRY TOGETHER WE HURT TOGETHER BUT MORE THAN THAT WE LOVE TOGETHER AS IT'S CALLED A FAMILY BOND. Thank u for reading

This is the story about the funding I'm trying to Raise,
As of late I've fallen on some hard times as I tried to buy out & run the company that I worked for before my accident but that Didn't eventuate & was pushed into liquidation which was so heart breaking I thought that would Help me out so much by having a purpose in life so now I need to try Raise $20,000 as my contribution to my new car  that will be modified so that I can drive it from in my wheelchair Which will give me so much freedom & independence back so It's going to help make life a little more normal again & I'll b able to drive to work to visit friends to do so much again not having to rely on people to get around I'd be so appreciative of anything you can donate as It's all going to help me achieve my goal & then It can be released from Volkswagen & go to the car modify company where they will fit it out with the driving aids so I can drive it Thank You so much for taking the time to read
