Oktoberfest 2017

Welcome to the fifth annual Oktoberfest! We will once again close down the street for one uber party -- Oktoberfest 2017!
The celebration is Saturday, September 30th, 3:00PM, at the circle at Rosemont Pl. and West Dominion Blvd.
It is the best party with the best neighbors. But, fabulous parties don’t come cheap. If we all contribute what we can afford, we’ll get close to meeting our budget. We also plan to ask those who don’t contribute here to donate the day of the festival. Any leftover funds will be applied to next year’s budget.
Our goal is to raise $3,000, which we need to pay for the following:
- The permit to close the street so we can stumble around without fear of being run over by a car
- Roasting a 200-pound pig
- Listening to two hours of live music (6:30 - 8:30PM) from a 10-piece German band and also an accordian player
- Eating pork sausage, sauerkraut, and spaetzle that is homemade by your highly-skilled neighbors and their trusted assistants
- Sitting at tables and chairs under tents that you don’t have to drag with you to the party
- Eating scrumptious Lake Erie perch and snacking from a huge board of crazy cheeses
- Having access to our very own neighborhood port-o-john (big time!)
- Sipping from three kegs of Oktoberfest beer provided by The Elevator
