Medical Relief for Honduras

Hello Internet! I'm raising money to go on a two-week medical brigade in May to Honduras: a country that deserves the aid I could help give.

Since I have graduated from college but not yet applied to medical schools, I have found myself with time on my hands and an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a community that is less fortunate than the communities to which all of us belong. The orginization is Global Brigades, and they use a holistic approach when they organize a trip. The idea is not only to provide transient aid while we are there, but to also give permanent relief through the construction and repair of homes and buildings that may provide a health risk. This trip is something that I believe in and something that I feel is a give and take. The difference that I will be able to make will be reciprocated and meaningful. I am asking for the opportunity to grow a community as well as myself. Thank you for any contribution that you can afford, everything helps!
