Support Our Aquinas Sisters

Donation protected
Aquinas High School helped many of us forge a lifelong bond that cannot be broken by any force imaginable. So as you can fathom, when we hear that our sisters in faith, learning and love are in need, it is natural that we bond together as our Blue and Gold Unity taught us to do.
1) Fatisha Stevens: A loving mother of three beautiful children; a provider, a sister, a daughter... Enters the hospital thinking she is suffering from Asthma, only to find out that she is battling Breast Cancer at the age of 35. This diagnosis even baffled her doctors. As she endures Chemotherapy, we bond together to help her with necessities to provide for her family while she fights this battle; a battle that she fights with a steadfast army of sisters by her side!
2) Janet Jurado: Alex Gonzalez is a six year old little prince. He was born with a rare form of Cerebral Palsy. It affects his neuromuscular movements. He lacks balance, stamina and coordination. As he walks, he falls and trips. This is the reason why he uses a wheelchair to ambulate to places. Alex's current wheelchair is malfunctioning. They have been waiting almost a year for parts and repairs. Still the wheelchair has not been repaired. Because pediatric wheelchairs are so expensive, the insurance companies do not want to pay for them for a period of 5 years or more. Alex is in true need of a new, secure and safe wheelchair.
3) Daletnia Cabrera-Perez: On 12/19/14, Daletnia was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma, a rare form of Cancer that started growing outside her Uterus and attached to her intestines. On this day, she had to make life changing decisions in an instant. She had to have a full hysterectomy and 6 inches of her small intestines removed. As a result of the intense surgery, she had to go through a blood transfusion to replenish the blood that she had lost. As a result of this procedure, she has been deemed fully disabled. Her life and that of her family has been fully compromised, as she is unable to work and complete many daily tasks that we take for granted.
All three of these young ladies share a bond with us all. They are mothers, they are sisters, they are daughters... They are someone's friend, someone's rock, someone's reason for going on another day. All these ladies could be us! God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers, but they know they do not fight alone. Please support these ladies. No donation is too small or too big! Thank you,
Your Aquinas Sisters in Faith
