Operation Kindness path Eagle Proj

Our family, especially my mom, has always supported Operation Kindness due to the amazing work that organization does for animals on a shoe-string budget. Their humane treatment of animals and ultimate placement into families improving the lives of all involved is amazing. This dovetails well into the goal of my Eagle project.
As can be seen in the photos the existing animal walk path is a simple path made by foot traffic and is even overgrown in parts. During rains it is very difficult if not impossible to navigate. My goal is to clear and level the path, line it with simple mesh paving stones and cover the path with crushed granite. If enough funds are raised I would also provide a picnic bench in the center for the volunteers at Operation Kindness to rest and refresh.
Additionally, my mother Vicki is suffering from a rare muscle inflamatory disease known as dermato myositis that will likely claim her life in the immediate future. As an advocate for Operation Kindness and life-long pet lover, I would like to honor her with this path improvement as well. Any funds raised above the goal will be given to the myositis foundation for future research and awareness of this tragic disease.
