Kenya Mission Trip

I am so happy to announce that this October I will be going on a 10-day Missions trip to Western Kenya in Africa with a team from Trinity Assembly in Algood, Tennessee. God has provided me with this challenging mission opportunity, and I am ecstatic about all the impact God will have through me.

 Our trip will focus on sharing the love of Jesus to a remote rural village, where many have never heard of Him. The purpose of our trip is a threefold:

·      First, we will be sharing the Good News of Jesus love with the people as we literally go from hut-to-hut. Kenyan interpreters will accompany us, so the people will be able to understand our presentation.

·      Secondly, we will be holding “Open-air” crusades in the afternoon, with singing and dancing “African Style”. This will be done in the local market so that everyone can hear and participate in our movement.

·      Finally, we will be visiting a local orphanage where sixty of the more than ten thousand orphans in this area live. We hope to have gifts and simply love on them.

        Excitement is an understatement on how I feel about this opportunity and I hope you see the value in what I will accomplish. As you can imagine a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people and I must raise $3,100.00 to attend. I hope that when deciding how much to give or if to give at all that you will take a minute to pray and ask God how much He wants you to give. 

            While money is important, it comes in a distant second to my need for prayer support. I hope you remember me in your prayer time from now to the end of my trip.
