On March 11th 2015, the world lost an amazing person, but heaven gained a glorious angel. My mother was ,without question, the strongest person I've ever known .However under her tough exterior there was a kind ,gentle woman that would give you the shirt off her back. My mom really was an amazing person !She love to laugh, play cards and she loved the Pittsburgh Steelers!! But the absolute most important thing to my mother was spending time with her family .
Although my mother did her best to keep us children happy, times were not always easy for her. Because of her disability it was often difficult for her to find employment and therefore, growing up I recall moving multiple times because the rent was unable to be paid. There were also times that I remember our electricity being turned off because of non-payment. Times were hard for my mom throughout my childhood ,but she never allowed those hard times to affect her love for us. No matter how difficult the situation was for her she always made sure that us children knew she loved us. Even though there were times when life was scary for her, she always found a way to make us feel safe .She never complained about our hardships, she simply continue to do what she needed to do as a mother to get things done .
One of thehardest things I've ever had to do was watch my mother suffer and know there wasn't anything I can do to make her better. All throughout my childhood, life was rough for my mom. However, she always found a way to make things better for the people around her . And when she needed me to make things better for her, I couldn't!
I couldn't make her better when she was so sick, but what I can do is give her the memorial service she deserves. I mentioned that my mom often was not working and because of this ,she could not purchase any life insurance on herself. Therefore ,all of the funeral expenses are now the responsibility of us children .While we are able to pay for a portion of the services, we do not come close to being able to pay for the entire service .
My mother sacrificed so much for everyone else and I just want to have a beautiful service for her that will help people recognize how wonderful she really was; my mom deserves that. My siblings and I cannot pay for this on our own, so we are coming here and asking all of you to please help us and donate whatever you are able to so that we can provide memorial services for my mother who recently passed away .She was an amazing ,selfless, kind ,funny ,lighthearted, caring soul who would do anything for someone she loved. Please help us pay her back with a beautiful memorial service; it's the last kind gesture that we can show her.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this; your donation is greatly appreciated by the Heckel family.
