As most of you know, Dad (Jim Kent) is recovering from neck surgery due to a broken neck. He has been in recovery for almost 3 months and they are just now seeing small signs of improvement. Mom has not been able to work due to having to be his care taker and this has caused major decrease in income, and we all know how that is. With continual care being necessary for dad right now mom has had no other option other than taking care of her husband. Although she would prefer to be the one to care for him, we think he needs more and It is also just taking it's toll on mom physically and financially at this point. We have been praying for guidence as to what would be best for Dad and think that having him go into a rehab for DAILY physical therapy would be better than what we have been doing, which is them coming in once a week to work with him and showing not progress. We (my sister and I) are reaching out to you, some we know other we don't but you know our parents. IF (still unsure if they will or can) they do decide to do this, in addition to all their financial obligations this will add another $150.00 per day. As of now this is NOT an option for them. I set a goal amount but have no idea what they need so we ask that you PRAY and ask the Lord what you should do.
