Apprenticeship in the Pastorate

In an apprenticeship, after receiving his training, a young man (or woman) would be placed in the hands of a professional in his field and, for a period of time, would learn everything he could of the trade at hand. Not only would he get the opportunity to work hands on in his craft but he would also begin to aquire and use the tools necessary. 

Well, this makes my story simple.
Here are the details:
The Training: Nyack College
The Young Man: Me, Aaron Trevor Preston Beattie
The Professionals: Jim & Amy Bailey of The Stirring
The Period of Time: Summer, 2015
The Field: The Pastorate
The Trade: Loving (Spreading the love of the Father through Jesus Christ as led by the Holy Spirit.)
The Hands-On: The people from California to Cambodia
And The Tools: Mentoring, Teaching, Serving, Reaching, and Healing (as taught by Scripture)

The goal is $5,000 here's where it will go:
The first $2000 will be headed toward the trip to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Where I will have the opportunity to work with The Hard Places Community. Here, a team of about five of us will be sent in to aid the staff of a prevention and restoration center for young boys who have been sold for sex in the very streets we will be walking. 

The next $3000 will go towards airfare to and the cost of living in Redding, California.  I will be mentored under PastorJim Bailey in preparation for stepping into the role of a pastor in the evangelical Protestant Church.
