COMPLETED - Ohio PPE Face Shield Donation Fund

Hi guys! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy during this awful COVID 19 pandemic. I wanted to share some happy vibes and show what we have been working on these past few weeks. PPE Face shields! We heard Governor DeWine mention multiple times that we are running out of PPE and Ohio needs help, so we listened. We found out what PPE supplies are running out and saw there is shortage of the face shields (among other things) and we are ready to make them. We hope to be making hundreds (maybe thousands) of these to help in this crisis once we finalize production of the first batch.  All the face shields will be donated to local hospitals and healthcare workers who need them badly. A little bit of background, we are a husband and wife with 3 girls ages 2, 5, & 6 and we run a small family owned and operated business. Just like most businesses, business slowed down during this pandemic and we have an industrial laser that is not being maximized. We can't sew but we have a machine, so what do we do? We turned our laser machine to good use and started making prototypes for a PPE face shield. We felt that this was the right thing to do to help in this crisis and decided to focus our ability and resource to produce something that would help those who are risking their lives everyday.  We also struggled sourcing the appropriate materials because  everything was running out everywhere since it is in such high demand right now. The good news is that there are others out there making PPE face shields to help their own communities.  So here we are, we have our first batch of materials and we are ready  to cut the face shields with our laser machine. We have enough material to make 250 face shields and would love to make more but we need your help! The cost to make each face shield is about $5 but if we can order in bigger quantities, that dollar amount is sure to go down. Every $5 donation will be greatly appreciated.  We all know how much our medical front liners are risking their lives every single day.
