Memorial Diamond Necklace

Hello,
My  name is Brenda. In November of 2014, my great friend, Elizabeth, shared the wonderful news with me that she was expecting her first child. I was overjoyed for her because I knew this is something she had been wishing for, for a very long time. After a typically bumpy first trimester, full of morning sickness and fatigue, Elizabeth was so happy to enter her second trimester. She had found out she and her husband Gino were expecting a baby girl, to be named LeeAnn. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse on Valentine's Day, when she was 19 weeks and 6 days along. Her membranes ruptured without an apparent cause. She was put on bedrest to keep any more amniotic fluid from leaking. Just six days later she went to the hospital because she was bleeding. They sent her home thinking it was just her cervix bleeding. Three days later she returned to the hospital because she was having contractions. There she got the devastating news that LeeAnn's heartbeat could not be found. On 2/27/15, Elizabeth delivered her stillborn baby girl.
The funeral director that cremated baby LeeAnn told Gino and Elizabeth about a company that will take some of the ashes and turn them into a diamond for a necklace. This is a costly procedure, however the results would physically allow Elizabeth to carry LeeAnn next to her heart every day. This unexepected tragedy comes at a time of change for Gino and Elizabeth. Gino is soon to retire from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. The cost for this necklace is not something that is financially feasible for the Parrottas due to their pending life transition.
I would loving nothing more than for my friend to be able to have a daily display for her daughter she will always carry in her heart. Your donations would be appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my friend's story. Even if a monetary donation isn't possible for you at this time, your thoughts and prayers for the Parrottas are appreciated.
Much Love,
Brenda
