Help Us Turn This Into Home

Our luck just might be changing. We have found a place that the kids and I can call home. The house however, had been squatted, vandalized, and nearly put up for demolition. It's been saved from it's fate and been offered up to us, if we can help make it "liveable" again. We are using recycled and reclaimed materials and have one retired plumber who's there putting in as much time as he can. The kids and I, as well our bff Putzy, have put in a few hours here and there when I can make it between treatments.
Now that the weather has broken we have to give it a big push. My uncle is selling his home and we plan to move as soon as school is out. We need materials. Mold treatment throughout the house, all windows are broken, new ceilings, paint, doors, some flooring, not even sure if heat or cooling works yet.
Those of you who know me well, know that I am NOT A FAN of these Go Fund Me things...... not in the least. But you know what? For a chance for my kids and I to have a place to live, a place to call "home", I guess I'll suck it up and punch my pride in the face for a minute. We have about a month to get the big stuff done. THIS IS THE BACKUP PLAN. I know times are tough for everyone, and I hate to ask for any help, but it is what it is. I promise to pay it forward everyday.
