Vicki Dexter Benefit Fund

Vicki, an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and nurse, was recently diagnosed with advanced lung cancer that has spread to her bones.

She went to the doctor in January for what she thought was a torn rotator cuff, and when they did the scan they found the lung cancer. Then, they did a bone biopsy and found the cancer has spread to her bones. She has been off work since January and will not be back until at least mid June. She has just started radiation to help with the pain in her hip and shoulder and will in the near future start chemo. However, this kind always comes back and is not curable.

We are reaching out to give you an opportunity to show love, compassion and support to this family, and to give Vicki an opportunity to  focus on her health and enjoying time with her family (especially all her grandbabies!) without worrying about the financial strain that we all know medical bills can be! As we imagine ourselves in their very real situation – please contribute whatever amount you can afford. It will make a vast difference in their ability to stay focused on what is truly important and is appreciated beyond measure.
She would never ask anyone to do this for her, so we need to rally together and be there for her! Please, help us do whatever we can to support this amazing woman during her time of need.
