Abigail's 1st Bike

Today is my daughter, Abigail’s, tenth birthday.  As many of you know, shortly after her birth ten years ago, Abigail was diagnosed with a rare seizure disorder and global developmental delays.  Today Abigail is non-verbal and cannot walk independently.  Abigail, however, loves to be on the move.  She loves to swim, go for walks, or even ride in the car with the window down. In honor of her tenth birthday, I would like to initiate a fundraiser to purchase this incredible tandem bike that will enable Abigail to enjoy bike rides as well.  


We moved to Milwaukee, WI two years ago - which is a large biking community.  The city is equipped with many bike paths running along the lake front and through downtown.  This bike would allow Abigail and the rest of our family to enjoy bicycle outings together.
