<div>A family member of ours committed suicide at 24 in the year 2018. During grief, we decided it was time to talk more seriously about one of the biggest causes of death in youth, so my family and many like-minded friends started this small mental health-themed music festival in 2019. It was so successful that we launched an organization the same year and started planning many depression and suicide discussion evenings with mental health experts and a support group for people who have lost loved ones to suicide. We have become one of the most notable Latvian mental health support organizations. All thanks to the volunteers, our own time, money and the support we have gained from donors.
