<div>Ces derniers mois les rafles de chevaux sauvages ont été nombreuses aux États-Unis et une fois capturés le sort qui les attend n'est pas très heureux... à moins qu'ils ne soient adoptés.

<div>C'est le projet auquel nous vous convions !

<div>Un rêve beaucoup trop grand pour moi seule, raison pour laquelle j'ai besoin de vous.

<div>Ils sont 5, issus du même troupeau

<div>3 juments, 1 pouliche et un mâle
</div>
<div>Leurs grands yeux racontent leur histoire,
</div>
<div>Leurs longues crinières tout ce qu’ils ont traversé

<div>Et la connexion qui les lie nous entraine dans une danse

<div>Créer un sanctuaire et les adopter
</div>
<div>c'est leur donner la possibilité de rester ensemble,
</div>
<div>c'est préserver une micro culture à laquelle ils appartiennent
</div>
<div>c'est sauvegarder un petit groupe de survivants qui appartenait à un troupeau bien plus grand.

<div>Je les ai rencontrés il y a peu lors d'une clinique de formation donnée dans un centre d'adoption des mustangs, la façon dont ils viennent nous sentir, l'unité avec laquelle ils se déplacent a gravé quelque chose en moi que je ne peux oublier et qui n'a pas fini d’œuvrer.

<div>Quelque chose qui mérite d’être protégé et partagé.

<div>Quelque chose qui mérite de redevenir vivant et sauvage.

<div>Cependant pour que l'œuvre puisse se déployer j'ai besoin d'alliés pour porter le rêve avec moi !

<div>Accueillir un troupeau de mustangs veut dire de nombreux frais afin de

<div>- Organiser un transport du centre d'adoption aux États-Unis jusqu'au Québec 6000$

<div>- Aménager un lieu sécuritaire pour les accueillir les 9 premiers mois le temps de les familiariser avec leurs nouvelles conditions de vie 5000$

<div>- Prendre soin d'eux au quotidien 200$/mois/cheval
</div>
<div>-Clore un territoire de 25 acres afin de pouvoir les relâcher l'été prochain

<div>(ce sera la seconde phase environ 25 000$

<div>Outre la possibilité de leur offrir une seconde chance, de contribuer à la sauvegarde de ces petits chevaux du Colorado, embarquer dans le projet c'est aussi soutenir un espace thérapeutique, de ressourcement et porteur de sens autant pour eux que pour nous, permettant de prendre soin du vivant, d'arrêter le temps et de marcher dans la beauté…

<div>celle d'être accompagnée par ce troupeau dont le souffle à la vertu de tisser une passerelle entre les mondes et de tout rendre possible.

<div>Qui suis-je ?
</div>
<div>Je m'appelle Laetitia Toanen et les chevaux et moi marchons côte à côte depuis longtemps, à présent par le biais de Chemins de Traverse.
</div>
<div>C'est la 3e fois que je me rends auprès des mustangs, la première en Arizona auprès d'une famille de la Nation Navajo afin d'être initiée aux savoirs ancestraux liés aux chevaux, la deuxième dans un sanctuaire de la Salt River. C'est là qu'est né mon désir de les protéger. Aussi lorsque j'ai eu l'occasion de me rendre dans un centre d'adoption je n'ai pas hésité. Et une fois sur place impossible de repartir sans eux.

<div>Depuis 7 ans les chevaux ont donné un sens nouveau à ma vie et ensemble nous accompagnons les quêtes de sens, besoins de ressourcements, enjeux et traumas des gens qui viennent à notre rencontre. Chaque fois, les chevaux (en troupeau et en liberté) répondent présents, offrent d'eux pour insuffler un second souffle, refléter des situations, supporter des émotions, libérer des souffrances, inviter à de nouvelles possibilités.

<div>Pour le moment notre premier objectif est de les sortir de leur captivité.
</div>
<div>Ensuite nous créerons un organisme à but non lucratif (de bienfaisance) afin de créer le sanctuaire et qu'ensemble nous puissions veiller le Vivant.

<div>In recent months, roundups of wild horses have been frequent in the United States,
</div>
<div>and the fate awaiting them after capture is often grim... unless they are adopted.
</div>
<div>That is the project I'm inviting you to join!
</div>
<div>It's a dream far too big for me to realize alone, which is why I need you.

<div>There are five of them, all from the same herd:three mares, one filly, and one male.
</div>
<div>Their large eyes tell their story, their long manes speak of all they have endured,
</div>
<div>and the bond connecting them draws us into a dance.
</div>

<div>Creating a sanctuary and adopting them means giving them the chance to stay together,
</div>
<div>preserving the unique culture to which they belong and safeguarding a small group of survivors
</div>
<div>from a much larger herd.
</div>
<div>I met them recently at a training clinic held at a mustang adoption center.
</div>
<div>The way they come to sniff us, the unity with which they move; it left an indelible mark on me.
</div>
<div>Something that continues to resonate deeply. Something worth protecting and sharing.
</div>
<div>Something that deserves to be wild and free once more.
</div>

<div>However, for this vision to come to life, I need allies to help carry the dream forward with me!
</div>

<div>Welcoming a herd of mustangs entails significant costs, including:
</div>
<div>- Covering expenses such as: adoption fees, veterinary costs and customs fees
</div>
<div>- Arranging transport from the adoption center in the United States to Quebec
</div>
<div>- Preparing a safe space to house them for the first nine months while they acclimate to their new living conditions
</div>
<div>- Providing daily care
</div>
<div>- Fencing in a 25-acre area so they can be released next summer
</div>
<div>Beyond giving them a second chance and helping preserve these small Colorado horses,
</div>
<div>joining this project means supporting a therapeutic space for renewal and meaning,
</div>
<div>benefiting both them and us. "Chemin de Traverse" is a space that allows us to care for
</div>
<div>living beings, pause time and walk amidst beauty...the beauty of being accompanied by a herd,
</div>
<div>whose very breath has the power to bridge worlds and make anything possible.

<div>Who am I?
</div>
<div>My name is Laetitia Toanen and I have been walking side-by-side with horses for a long time now
</div>
<div>through "Chemins de Traverse". This is my third time visiting the mustangs: the first was in Arizona
</div>
<div>with a Navajo family to learn ancestral horse wisdom. The second was at a sanctuary at Salt River.
</div>
<div>That is where my desire to protect them was born. So, when I had the opportunity to visit an adoption
</div>
<div>center, I didn't hesitate. And once I was there, it was impossible to leave without them.
</div>
<div>For seven years, horses have given my life new meaning. Together, we support the people who come to
</div>
<div>us in their quests for meaning and renewal, helping them navigate life's challenges and traumas.
</div>
<div>Every time, the horses, in liberty and as a herd, show up. They give of themselves to breathe new
</div>
<div>life into situations, mirror circumstances, hold space for emotions, release suffering and open

<div>the door to new possibilities.

<div>For now, our primary goal is to get them out of captivity.
