Official #TeamRony Medical recovery support fund

On Saturday July 16, Rony was passionately doing what he does best, teaching Zumba. During his master class, he suffered a heart attack and became unresponsive. A local Zumba Instructor, who is also a medical professional, courageously began CPR until the paramedics arrived. Rony was without a pulse and was rushed to the nearest hospital. He was immidiately prepped for surgery where they performed a cardiac catherization on two of his main arteries. It was then determined that he needed more extensive medical treatment and transferred to another hospital that could facilitate that level of support. Rony is currently sedated and on a ventilator but showing progress. Once stable, another cardiac catheterization will be performed.

This will be a long road to recovery for both Rony and Ecem. As the main provider of his household, this has put a significant financial strain on their current and future everyday life. We would love to support them and remove that added preassure of medical bills, utility/home bills, food, and unexpected expenses.

Rony and Ecem are deeply humbled and incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and support. The stories of how they have impacted our lives are endless. Their love for each and their love for their family, friends and communities is so powerful, and they have so much more to share with the world.
