During March IDT at Fort Custer Training Center, Bushmaster Company 1-125 Infantry were conducting patrol base operations when a tree fell and crashed into two soldiers:

PVT Young
SGT Rose

This Fundraiser is primarily designed to support the Families of these soldiers and their continued care during this horrendous accident.

PVT Young Joined the Army in May 2018 at the age of 17. He completed Basic Training at Fort Benning GA in August 2018. PVT Young went back to Fort Benning GA to complete his Advanced Infantry Training (AIT) during the summer of 2019. After AIT, PVT Young Joined the MIARNG and was assigned to Bushmaster Co 1-125.

SGT Rose joined the Army in November 2015 and completed Basic Training at Fort Sill - Oklahoma as a 74D (CBRN) in 2016. SGT Rose was assigned to the C CO 156th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, Howell, Michigan. SGT Rose served four years with the 156th reaching the rank of Specialist. SGT Rose moved to the 1437 Engineer Company MRBC out of Sault Saint Marie MI, where he was promoted to the Rank of Sargent. SGT Rose then transferred to Bushmaster Company 1-125 in October of 2020 with his mind set to going to Ranger School.
