Officers Wife Needs Assistance

Candice Wierszewski (Sciuto) wife of Roger Wierszewski, Detective for Grosse Pointe Farms Police Dept and member of Grosse Pointe Lodge 102 is in need of some help.
Candice had emergency surgery for a perforated bowel in January of 2018. They removed her entire colon and rectum, gave her an ileostomy bag, then a loop ileostomy bag and now a Jpouch. Of course, It all started from undiagnosed ulcerative colitis. She was in the hospital from feb 2-5 and they released her to see a GI doctor on Feb 9th and bowel perforated on Feb 11th.
Candice is now having complications with her Jpouch. Now they have to completely redo all the surgeries that she originally had and create her a new j-pouch. This is all done using her small intestines. The doctor that performs this type of surgery is located in New York.
Candice had to resign from her position at Richmond Area schools this past Aug due to the illness.
Roger has now taken all expenses on his income.
These two are not ones for hand outs, but as I explained to them, this is what police officers do, help one another in a time of need.
Candice and roger have to travel to NY 3 separate times for 2-3 week stays each time. As many know, NY is NOT a cheap area to visit let along stay for an extended time.
We are asking for any help for Roger and Candice.
