Nakia won her case for her living maintenance and is now able slowly but surely to try and get back on her feet.. Nakia would like to thank all those who contributed to this go fund me in her time of need. She still is fighting for social Justice and trying to bridge the gap between the community and police.  Thank you for all your kind words of encouragement and monetary donations, it is greatly appreciated..!!!

Nakia is still fighting, her living maintenance was stopped in October of 2020 by the department she worked for. She is no longer able to be an Officer because of the concussion received from her on duty car accident. Through all of this Nakia is still fighting for Social Justice!! Anything you can donate helps her month to month as she try’s to get her living maintenance back!!! She still has a family to provide for!!!  

Officer Nakia Jones was fired in retaliation for speaking out on her private Facebook page about the murder of Alton Sterling by two police officers.  She has always given so much of herself and sacrificed so much for the community.  Nakia is the most giving person and very passionate about serving her community and making sure that ALL are treated fairly.  She was passionate about her job and has always tried to live by her motto “ I am my brother and sisters keeper”.   As a community we need to support her as she has ALWAYS tried to support others.  Whatever you can find in your heart to give please do.  Many thanks in advance!!
