Officer Chase Gordy Fundraiser

My name is Colby Adkins, I am the younger brother of Officer Chase Gordy. The intentions of the money is to help with any medical bills, money while out of work, cost of living, and donations throughout the community. 

My brother, Chase Gordy, was sworn into office in September last year. Chase was hired Villa Rica Police Department in June of 2020. He was a recent graduate from the University of West Georgia and completed training at the GPSTC Police Academy in Rome.

The incident started as a high-speed chase on I-20 in Bremen and continued south into Carrollton before heading north on Highway 61, where it ended near Villa Rica. In Villa Rica, suspects were reported on foot and Officer Chase Gordy was posted near the area. One of the suspects ran up on Gordy while having the intentions to kill. Officer Chase Gordy shot back and then ran to find cover, as he was trying to get cover, he was shot 3 times: once in the left calf, once in the left shoulder and once in the left rib. The bullet to the left rib was stopped by his ballistic vest. He was immediately life-flighted to Grady Memorial Hospital.

Chase Gordy needs help with the expenses for his recovery, things such as necessities and his cost of living. Every penny will be going to him and his family to help with the expenses of this tragedy/trauma that he endured.
