Officer Brandon Halloran is an officer with Bertie County Sherriff's Office and was responding to a call on New Years Eve and lost control of his cruiser due to wet road conditions, his cruiser crashed into a wooded area hitting a tree. Brandon suffered a skull fracture, many broken bones in his legs and neck which prevented him from being able to escape the cruiser that had caught on fire. Another car saw the accident and was able to pull Brandon to safety. He is awaiting surgery to fix his right leg and has a long road to recovery. Please consider giving to his medical fundraiser for he will be out of work for quite awhile and the medical bills are already piling up.
