OFF WITH HER HAIR

 
I need your encouragement…
 
For the past 5 years, I have been growing my hair, my hair has never been this long in my entire life.
 
The initial reason was to have long hair at my daughter’s wedding, so I could have my hair up.
 
Then I decided to copy Charlotte Gray and donate my hair to The Little Princess Trust, this trust makes wigs from real hair for children that have lost their own hair due to illness. However back in 2015 my hairdresser said it wasn’t long enough. I have been growing it ever since.
 
My hair has been long enough to cut now for the past 6 months but every time I sit in the chair I change my mind so I need your help to encourage me as my next visit is October 19th to actually go through with it and cut my hair and do what I said I would do.
 
I would like to raise some money and donate it to Peggy Dodd Day Centre (dementia care) which was integral to help me to take care of my mother who suffered with dementia herself.  We are very blessed in Bath to have the amazing facility that the Alzheimer’s society never told me about. A Dad of one of my swimmers told me of its existence.
 
I would like to raise awareness, we have this amazing place in Combe Down, should anyone else be afflicted with the harrowing diagnosis of dementia in their life. The Peggy Dodd day centre is the only one in the country.
 
Now that you know it exists I would like to donate some money to them. If any of you will sponsor me to have my hair cut in October I would appreciate that.
