Help Launch a Unique Arts and Culture Travel Show

Hey there! Aldea and Laura are on a mission to connect artists, boost the economy through arts, and provide inclusive opportunities for all types of artists and small businesses. They have this crazy idea to tell the world about the artists, art scenes, and local businesses in Tier 2 cities (America's Next Best Places to Live) like Syracuse, NY. They created a unique TV show concept, a travel show that highlights artists (of all kinds of talents) and local businesses, and then they filmed a pilot episode!

 

They have raised nearly $20,000 to film the pilot and submit it to over 37 Film Festivals! However, success in film has no road map and is a very long journey. Their approach at this point is to create mini episodes and build a following on YouTube while figuring out what audiences like best.

That's where you come in. Your donation will go directly to the continued marketing and spreading the word about Off the Wall & Up Close! With the ultimate goal of being picked up for an entire season on Netflix, Hulu, the Discovery Channel, or another appropriate network.

 

Why support us? This opportunity is for anyone working their tail off to be a part of the revitalization of the city they live in. These cities, like Syracuse, NY, Eugene, OR, and Fresno, CA, are the next I'm line to become thriving, fun places like Austin, Texas just was a few years ago. The efforts of artists and small business owners in these towns will be bolstered by the increased number of visitors and future residents that a show like this will afford.

 

Your donation is going to a woman-owned business. We are artists and consist of a diverse team of directors, crew, and marketers. Future episodes will highlight various artists from different backgrounds. Funds donated at this point are going to our efforts to create mini-episodes and pay our crew, as well as travel funds to make networking connections. Nothing happens in this biz, without meeting the right people at the right time!
