This fund is to help with the medical needs of Janland Roberts who was in a car accident on January 27, 2015. She was on her way to her first day of classes at Guildford College in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Janland was continuing her studies with one semester left in receiving her Paralegal Degree.
Janland was involved in a four car accident which was not her fault in any manner ( she was in the south bound lane and was a victim of a north bound lane accident), of the four involved in the accident Janland was the one most injuried and is the only one who remains hospitalized.
Janland received severe head injuries along with other multiple injuries placing her in critical condition. Although there have been some improvements she remains in a coma since the accident.
Janland is a mother of 3 beautiful children, ages 16, 15, and 9. This fund will also help with the needs of her children, who are now in the care of their grandmother, Janlands mom. Janland has worked as a waitress for 9 years at Cohen's Tearoom a family owned restaurant in Eden, North Carolina. Raising 3 kids on a waitress salary didn't allow Janland many of the nescessities of life, like insurance. Janland was going to sign up for the Affordable Care Plan by the Feburary 15th deadline but the accident occured before she did so. She was working to provide a better life for herself and her children by furthering her education and still working as a full time waitress. Janlands 3 children all participate in school sports as well as travel team sports. She was always traveling with them as their #1 cheerleader, cheering them on from the sidelines. Janland being a single mother has set strict standards of education for her children, giving them the chance to build a good life for themselves. College is a goal she has instilled in her children and she knew that good grades and high academic scores would lead them to the best scholarships possible. All 3 of her children are on the A honor roll and the oldest in the 11th grade is a star state volleyball player with a good chance of receiving a Volleyball scholarship. Her Middle child is in the nineth grade and is already playing Varsity basketball. Her 9 year old excels in baseball and football. Janland has done a great job raising her children with proper manners, standards and morals to ensure that they will become successful adults. Janland is 33 years old and is so loved by all, that come in contact with her. She is known for her loving smile, kind words, and the fact that she would do anything to help anybody in need, at Christmas she would always sponsor a child from the giving tree, even though she had 3 of her own, on a waitress salary. Janland is a strong young lady, with a strong faith in God! Janlands family needs to feel our love and support during these difficult times. We are asking each of you that take the time to read this, to please share this with your friends and any donation you can afford will be greatly appreciated.
This is a large goal but one that is desperately needed. Her needs in the hospital are great and when Janland comes home there will be extensive home care and therapy along with transportation needs.
We ask each of you to pray for God to give us the miracle so many are praying for, to bring Janland back to us whole in spirit , mind and body , returning her to raise her 3 beautiful children... #janlandstrong
