Please help Odie!

As most of my friends and family already know, Odie has been my entire world for as long as I can remember. From high school, to the Marine Corps, and all through college he’s gotten me through some of the toughest times and has always been my rock. Unfortunately this morning he had an accident and it really messed up his back leg and hip. Odie being my sidekick tried jumping on the bed to get to me instead of using his ramp. Unfortunately he missed and on his way down caught his leg in the side of my wooden bed frame. With him being so small and all it pulled his hip out of place and fractured his back fibula. We’ve spent hours at the emergency vets and his only option at this point is to have surgery to put a pin in his fractured leg and work on his hip. Today alone our bill was over a $1,000 and his surgery will be between $3,800-$4,000. We’ve already gotten all his labs back and even though he’s older everything looks good for them to do the surgery and the vets are very hopeful. However, with me having been out of work longer than expected from my child’s birth and health complications from the pregnancy/delivery we are struggling to come up with the money. Asking others for help isn’t something we’ve ever done, but anything at this point truly helps. He’s part of our family and we refuse to give up on him!
