Odessa's Breast Cancer Battle
Hello friends & family!
This is Lisa, Odessa's (or to most of us, Zsa Zsa) sister-in-law. Many of you are aware, but some of you are not, that she has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer this year. Zsa Zsa was initially diagnosed in 2014 and had a double mastectomy followed by chemo and radiation. Zsa Zsa may have lost her hair, but not her innate spirit or her fight. She is, without a doubt, the most positive patient you will ever meet. One year later, she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and had her thyroid removed. Unfortunately, her cancer returned in 2018, leaving us all baffled, but still with an unyielding belief in her. A fantastic team of doctors is on her side, guiding her through new, state-of-the-art-treatments combined with integrative remedies from the Center for New Medicine to offset the harsh effects of the chemotherapy and keep her immune system as strong as possible. Zsa Zsa is a star patient who NEVER COMPLAINS or feels sorry for herself. In fact, she always wants to assure that those around her are enjoying themselves and not inconvenienced. She heeds the advice of the doctors - including a lifestyle overhaul of living toxic-free now - with tenacity and unwavering warrior energy. Brett has been her #1 champion throughout this journey with equal steadfast enthusiasm and perseverance. They are a true inspiration to all who know them.
As you can imagine, with the cost of multiple surgeries (both traditional and integrative medical treatments), supplements, IV therapies, wigs, new clothes (from all of her weight loss), organic foods, healthy home and personal care products, and a new cutting-edge vaccine treatment she will begin protocol with shortly, the bills have mounted. Hello friends & family,
This is Brett. I am posting to update you all on Zsa Zsa’s current health status. For many of you who don’t know already, a short while ago we found out her cancer, unfortunately, has spread.
She has been going through numerous conventional and unconventional treatments since we got the news, and it is proving to be a fight. And based on her latest labs & scans, we expect her to go through chemotherapy again soon (she is now). Despite what she is going through, she remains strong, positive, and enjoying life to the fullest. In fact, I have to say, Zsa Zsa is looking GREAT! She’s changed much of her lifestyle & diet, losing 18 lbs already. She is truly an inspiration to me. And we’ve been blessed to have loving support from family members and friends during this time. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers while we continue this journey and what lies ahead. And if you know of any success stories of survival you’d like to share, we’d love to hear about them.
