Odessa, TX shooting survivor

Hello my name is Daniel Munoz  I’m originally from AZ .  I moved from San Diego to  Odessa Texas to pursue a better job in hopes for a better future . I’ve been living  in Odessa for about 2 years now.  None of my family is here however I have made a few new friends.  I’m just a regular hard working guy who loves his dog and love to make people laugh. All I do is work here in Odessa my only days off are Saturday and Sunday. When I’m not working I like to do photography, travel , make music with my friends and dance to good tunes. Odessa Texas was my little hiding spot away from the world. But recently my world was under attack. On Saturday 31 my life was in danger. There was a horrific unforeseen event that changed the lives of many not just mine. A heartless crazy man was driving around shooting  defenseless innocent people. I was on my way to see my friend when the incident occurred. Her and I usually ride together in my car but this day we decided to meet up and I’m glad she didn’t ride along with me because there are bullet holes in my passenger seat. We’re thankful to be alive and that it wasn’t worse.  While I was on the E i20 service rd I yielded for the ramp  off I-20 when I noticed a slow moving car. I thought it was strange so I continued to watch the car as it was approaching me I could see an evil look on his face full of hate. At first I thought he might give me the finger or something when I suddenly noticed the barrel of a rifle come out his widow. In that moment I knew I had to get down I didn’t want to find out what he was going to do next. Four loud shots are what followed after. His first shot hit near the steering wheel, bullet fragments ripping through the wiring  of my car which made it  stop accelerating. The next shots were at my driver side widow and several others to my passenger seat and back widow. Lucky he missed me but bullet fragments did brake off and hit my left shoulder. I’m lucky to be alive today.I still have those bullet fragments underneath my skin and the Doctors say I will live with them for the rest of my life. I’m creating this go found me for my car repairs, commuting expenses (since I currently don’t have a car), flight ticket to see my family Back home, lost wages, any  other future medical costs that may not be coved and anything els that I may need to get me through this difficult time. I would be extremely thankful if you could help me. I never thought something like this could happen but it did. My life will never be the same after this experience. My main priority it to see my family . I just want be around the ones I love the most and not have to worry about all this other stuff right now.  I haven’t lost my faith in humanity so if your feeling generous enough to donate to my Go found me account ,my family and I would greatly appreciate it. I’m trying my best not to live in fear but I have hope that this experience will not destroy me but help me become a better person. I have a completely different outlook on life and the value of it. Anything helps at this point ,even a simple prayer not just for me but for the other victims and their family. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
