OCD is a mental health condition characterised by unwanted and intrusive thoughts. An individual with OCD tends to feel highly anxious and stressed if they do not compel to their thoughts. It can be repetitive and controlling. OCD can be debilitating and affect most aspects of a persons life. Depression becomes a very common consequence alongside other impacts such as chronic anxiety, feeling shame, guilt and frustrated and can also strain on relationships with other people. Compulsions like repeatedly washing hands or cleaning can cause physical impacts such as skin damage or fatigue.
