Occupational Therapy Licensing Exam

Hi everyone! I started this gofundme to help me pay for my OT licensing exam.  Most people who know me know I take school very seriously and I have always been an excellent student. I am almost done with my masters in occupational therapy program. I have been working for 6 months FREE—more than full-time for fieldwork which is a requirement for me to get the experience needed to practice as a therapist. This means I have been unable to work for money in order to focus on my fieldwork and literally spent all my weekends preparing for my patients for the next week. I would delivery drive for Doordash here and there whenever I found spare time but that was a rarity during fieldwork and with my car insurance, phone bill, food, gas, credit cards & other bills etc it just gets difficult to provide for myself and be an independent 24 year old. I had no life- barely could afford eating out/going out etc for 6 months but that is the sacrifice you have to make for investing in yourself and future. I have been working all of my college years and all of graduate school and that has definitely helped a lot but was not easy with my schedule especially in graduate school, I would go to class from 9-4 and have to work from 6-9, I wouldnt get home until 10 and then would have to commute back to school (over an hour) and still had ALOT of homework and studying to do for this therapy degree. I have sooooo many loans and cannot apply for anymore as well. The occupational therapy exam is more than the physical therapy & physical therapy assistant exam -$400, the nursing exam- $200. I am just asking friends/family or anyone who cares to support a struggling student to help out, I wanted to become an occupational therapist because I wanted to help people who were suffering with everyday life things find solutions to be able to perform those things, occupational therapists help people with anything impacting their ability to perform everyday life occupations: eating, drinking, school, cooking, cleaning, financial management, etc anything that you have to do daily to live your life and it is being impacted. We often work with people with disabilities, who have been involved in an accident, had surgery etc and I truly loved my pediatric fieldwork and I am hoping to work in a pediatric setting to help the youth with things impacting their  performance of everyday things. Anything helps whether its $5 or $10. I want to take my exam in August so am trying to gather all the money with door dashing in between classes (I have 2 week class in July) and studying for my exam so I can pass on my first try. Taking this exam will be what helps my dream come true and I will be able to finally work and be finished completely with school. $555 is the exam, it costs $40 to send it to the state and approx $200 for the Illinois state license so in total $795
